HYDRAULIC GROUND FRAME
The Hydraulic Ground Frame is used to insert and retrieve the Pressuremeter. Two hydraulic cylinders are mounted to a hollow-section frame. The cylinders are coupled by a clamp made to fit either Two Inch or EX casing. The frame itself is traversed by two lengths of mild steel tube large enough to take standard scaffold pole.
